Dave Aroesty is responsible for evaluating operational turnaround opportunities in the hospitality industry and other sectors in which real estate provides a strong element of downside protection to the investment thesis. He is a member of the group responsible for the acquisitions and operations of Platinum Equity’s hotel platform.
Dr. Aroesty joined Platinum in 2008 and previously graduated magna cum laude from Princeton with a degree in economics. He then graduated from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California and went on to become a practicing head and neck surgeon prior to joining Platinum.
The Platinum Equity portfolio consists of an industry-diverse, multi-billion-dollar group of approximately 60 operationally complex businesses.
